Tonight is the Finale!
Univision TV @ 7pm.
Update: FOX moves Q’Viva! THE CHOSEN to Late Night due to poor ratings.
¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN is the groundbreaking docu-journey.
The first-of-its-kind docu-journey series showcasing Latin music and dance, will air on Saturday, March 3 at 8pm, continuing with two-hour episodes for 5 weeks until its grand finale on Saturday, April 7.
The version for Fox TV:
It is the first bilingual competition series to be broadcast on a major network. The 12-part series, starring Jennifer Lopez and her former husband Marc Anthony, travels through 21 countries in Latin and South America in search of new talent, and naturally much of the conversation is in Spanish.
A Spanish language version of the program already began airing in January on Univision, where it opened to just more than 2 million viewers. The show is being retooled for an English-speaking audience — subtitles will be used when contestants or judges speak Spanish or Portuguese. Voice-over transitions that originally aired in Spanish were redone in English as well as segments featuring Lopez and Anthony speaking in Spanish. The show will be roughly 70% in English, according to Michael Herwick, one of the show's executive producers.
Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, and Jamie King, in collaboration with BlackBerry®, bring you ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN, the groundbreaking docu-journey detailing their transcontinental exploration for the most amazing artists throughout Latin America.
Jennifer, Marc, and Jamie have been traveling throughout the Americas since October 2011 to meet the most outstanding singers, musicians, dancers and other amazing artists that they have discovered for ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN via their personal networks, grassroots efforts, and an unprecedented social media campaign on YouTube (youtube.com/qviva) and Facebook (facebook.com/qvivathechosen).

Additionally, ¡Q’VIVA! THE CHOSEN and BlackBerry kicked-off a multi-country mobile tour that brought auditioning to the streets via state-of-the-art booths that visited major cities and neighboring towns in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. These mobile booths gave those without access to technology the opportunity to video record their auditions on the ultra portable BlackBerry® PlayBook™ tablet.
The innovative series will document the epic transcontinental tour to find “The Chosen,” the best artists who will be brought back to the United States for a chance to be part of a spectacular live show that will be the greatest celebration of Latin music and performance arts that the world has ever seen.
