Join us for an original theatrical production about a journey of a young boy trying to find the answers to his personal history: Mexico Extravaganza, Monarca. Performances by Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Carlos Moreno, Ana Nitmar, Gabriela Sepulveda, Aztec Dance Group Mictlan Danza y Cultura of San Jose, and more.
 
Presented by United Artist Repertory Theater of San Jose, Mexico Extravaganza produces a variety of different live performances to show the deep roots and rich culture of Mexico.

OUR MISSION
Our Mission is to bridge traditions and customs to an audience  that enjoys the multicultural aspect of our community through theater music, dance, poetry and visual arts.

THE ROOTS
Mexico Extravaganza was originated in January 2009 as an idea to showcase the rich diversity of Mexican folklore. Since then, this idea has evolved in the mind of its Executive Producer, Gabriel Pardo, responding to the need of an event could bring community together offering entertainment and education about the cultural legacy of Mexico.

THE SHOW

Mexico Extravaganza is a non-profit event that integrates elements of music, dance, poetry, and cultural icons to portray the richness of  Mexican folklore. Its mission is to bridge tradition, beliefs, and historical events with a community that share the same values as well as those who would appreciate it. The show includes a ballet folklorico, singers, actors, original music, visual artists, and original costumes.
